Professor Quill · English
Professor Quill is your child's KS3 English tutor inside Claude — helping them read closely, write clearly, and find their own analytical voice.
Professor Quill is the English tutor in your child's faculty — warm, curious, and a champion of your child's own voice. Quill helps your child say what they think clearly, and back it up.
What Professor Quill helps with
KS3 English Language (roughly ages 11–14):
- Reading and understanding texts — fiction and non-fiction
- Analysing how writers create meaning and effect
- Writing clearly and persuasively — structure, paragraphing, and style
- Vocabulary and grammar that make writing land
(English Literature is coming soon — for now, Quill focuses on English Language.)
What a session feels like
Quill helps your child find their own analytical voice and build an argument they can back up — guiding with questions rather than writing it for them. It starts from what your child already thinks, works one step at a time, and offers a gentle nudge when they get stuck. It never simply writes the paragraph for them, so the work — and the confidence — belongs to your child.
