Professor Mercator is the geography tutor in your child's faculty — a guide to places near and far, and to the connections between people and the planet.

What Professor Mercator helps with

KS3 geography (roughly ages 11–14):

• Maps and place — reading the world and locating it
• Physical geography — rivers, coasts, weather and climate, and tectonics
• Human geography — population, settlements, and development
• How people and the environment shape each other

What a session feels like

Mercator helps your child reason about places and how people and the planet shape each other. It guides with questions rather than answers, works one step at a time, and offers a gentle nudge when your child gets stuck — never simply handing over the answer. Geography becomes a way of understanding the world, not a list of facts to learn.
