Trial period, subscription price, VAT, and how to manage or cancel via the Customer Portal.

Your card is captured at sign-up, but you are not charged anything today. Here is how the trial and subscription work.
The 14-day free trial
When you claim a Founders spot, you start a 14-day free trial. Your card is on file so there is nothing extra to do, but £0 is charged today. The first payment only goes out after day 14 unless you cancel before then.
You get the full experience during the trial — Mentor and the whole faculty — with nothing held back.
Not ready to commit?
Cancel any time before day 14 and you will not be charged at all. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, so you keep full access until the trial ends.

What your subscription covers
Your £14/month includes Mentor and every subject tutor we currently offer (Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, and Geography). More subjects are on the way. See Meet the faculty for what each tutor does.
Founders offer
The first 100 parents who subscribe lock in £14 / month, held for your child's academic life with us — your rate stays at £14 for as long as you keep your subscription active, even after the standard price rises to £24 / month for everyone else. The locked rate is for your own child's studies; it is not a transferable lifetime deal.
Promotion codes
If you have a promotion code, you can enter it on the payment page before completing checkout.
How to manage or cancel
All billing is handled through the Stripe Customer Portal — the same secure payment system used by thousands of subscription products.
To open it:
- Sign in at aitutors.me in your browser.
- Click your account menu (top right) and choose Manage subscription.
- The portal opens in a new tab. From there you can view invoices, update your card, or cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access to the tutors until that date — there is no immediate cut-off.
No mid-period refunds
Unused days in a billing period are not refunded automatically. If you have an exceptional circumstance, contact us at hello@aitutors.me.
What if the payment page did not redirect back to aitutors.me?
Occasionally a network hiccup means the page after payment does not load correctly. Your subscription is still there — the payment processor records it independently of the redirect.
What to do: sign in normally and go to /install. If your subscription went through, you will see your connector details and the Manage subscription link in your account menu. If it still shows the subscribe page after waiting a few seconds and reloading, check that you are signed in with the same email address you used at checkout.
