Adding the aitutors.me connector to Claude gives your child the whole faculty — Mentor plus a specialist tutor for each KS3 subject — right inside any Claude chat. You set it up once in your browser, and it then works on every device signed into the same Claude account.

What you need

Nothing to copy. The "Open Claude →" button on your install page opens Claude's "Add custom connector" window with the name and address already filled in — you check them, click Add, then Connect. For reference (and for the rare case where the form opens blank), the address is the same for every subscriber:

If you see an "OAuth Client ID" box

Under Advanced settings, Claude may show OAuth Client ID and Client Secret fields. Leave both empty — Claude registers itself with aitutors.me automatically. (Until August 2026 this flow required pasting a personal Client ID from the install page; it no longer does.)

Added the tutors before?

Claude allows one connector per address — "A server with this URL already exists" is the sign. Delete the old aitutors.me connector in Claude first, then add it again from your install page.

Pick your surface

You only need to set this up on one of the two options below — once it is added, it syncs to the rest automatically.

  • Claude.ai (web) — recommended: the simplest path. Done entirely in your browser, no files or terminal involved.
  • Claude Desktop: if you prefer to start on the desktop app — or if you have already added it on the web and just want to confirm it arrived.

What you can do once connected

Your single connector brings the whole faculty into Claude:

Mentor — your child's first stop. Mentor opens every session with a short, friendly check on how your child is feeling, then brings in the right subject tutor. If your child is having a hard day, Mentor suggests rest rather than pushing through.

The subject tutors — a specialist for each KS3 subject (Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, and Geography). They all teach the same way: asking guiding questions and never simply handing over the answer, so the understanding belongs to your child, not the screen.
