What you get
A personalised AI tutor in the one subject the child was awarded for — £14/month per subject, with saved memory and the full Socratic method. It does not include a human Coach; the Coach stays exclusive to PRO and Max.

Who qualifies
Children who have won an academic-excellence prize at their school, or an award from a recognised national competition — for example the UK Junior or Intermediate Mathematical Challenge. The Merit Place is for the subject the award was won in.

How to get it
You apply with proof of the award — a certificate or a note from the school. Places are limited and reviewed one by one. It's a recognition of what the child has already achieved, not something on general sale.

01How do I try it before I pay?

Start with the free Demo. You add one connection to Claude and meet a live Socratic tutor with a pre-set student persona — no card, no sign-up. When you want personalised tutoring for your own child, move up to PRO. If you need more Demo rounds, Extra Time tops you up at £14 for 100 turns (30-day expiry).

02What does PRO include for £360 a term?

PRO is personalised tutoring across all 7 professors plus a named human Coach for the family — not a chatbot. It adds 1:1 onboarding for child and parents, a weekly energy check, a monthly open day and termly parent evening, multi-child support and desktop co-work. It's billed one term at a time, per subject per child, and you can cancel at term end.

03What's the difference between PRO and Max?

Max is everything in PRO, delivered one-to-one weekly for just your child at £960/term per subject. It adds a custom competition-prep tutor, a conversational Learning Genius session, and a parents-only AI-fluency community. PRO's coaching is in a small group; Max's is solo.

04I have two children — do I pay twice?

PRO gives each child their own separate context on a single account, so siblings each pick up where they left off. Billing is per subject per child, but they share one account and one Coach relationship for the family.

05What is Heddy Merit Place?

It's a merit place. If your child has won an academic-excellence prize at school or an award from a recognised national competition (for example the UK Junior Mathematical Challenge), you can apply for a personalised AI tutor in that subject at £14/month per subject. It's application-gated with proof of award, has no human Coach, and places are limited.

06Is VAT included? Can I cancel anytime?

Yes to both. Prices are UK VAT-inclusive — the price you see is the price you pay. The Demo is free, and paid plans are billed one term at a time; you can cancel at term end from your dashboard, no penalty.

07Why is there a founding price?

PRO and Max are £360 and £960 per term as a founding-cohort launch offer — 25% off the standard £480 and £1,280. The founding rate is available until 30 September 2026; after that, standard prices apply. Start before the deadline to lock in the founding rate for as long as you stay enrolled.
