Pricing

Serious tutoring, priced by the month or the term — never by the hour.

A faculty of Socratic tutors, personalised to your child, with a named human Coach for the family. One subject, one child — by the month or by the term.

A private tutor in the UK is £35–£60 an hour — one hour a week is £600–£1,000 a term, per subject. PRO is £120 a month, or £360 a term — unlimited sessions, plus a Coach.

Parents

What founding families say.

Jamesparent of a 12-year-old · Greater Manchester, UK
What I like most is that it does not simply give the answer. The tutor asks careful questions, so my son has to think, explain, and actually build confidence.
Sarahparent of a 13-year-old · Surrey, UK
aitutors.me has changed the tone of homework in our house. My Year 8 child no longer waits until they are completely stuck; they open a tutor, talk through the problem, and come away understanding the next step.
Priyaparent of an 11-year-old · Kent, UK
The energy check is a small thing, but it matters. On tired weeks, aitutors.me keeps the work lighter instead of pushing harder, which feels much more humane than most learning apps.
Tomparent of a 13-year-old · West Yorkshire, UK
My daughter used to say, ‘I don’t get science.’ Professor Curie and Professor Newton have made the ideas feel visual and manageable, especially when school explanations move too quickly.
Rachelparent of a 12-year-old · Oxfordshire, UK
As a parent, I wanted support that fitted around school, clubs, and family life. aitutors.me gives us flexible KS3 help without booking a tutor weeks in advance.
Meiparent of a 14-year-old · Singapore
The Learning Genius approach helped us understand how our child responds to challenge. The tutoring feels less generic because the feedback and pace seem to match the way they learn.
Ahmedparent of an 11-year-old · Dubai, UAE
The flashcards are genuinely useful because they come from the lesson my child has just worked through. They are not random revision cards; they lock in the exact ideas that needed practice.
Emmaparent of a 13-year-old · Hampshire, UK
I appreciate the safeguarding-first design. It is clear this has been built for children, not just adapted from a general chatbot.
Clareparent of a 12-year-old · Cambridgeshire, UK
aitutors.me has been especially helpful for the quiet gaps: the algebra step missed in Year 7, the English paragraph structure that never quite clicked, the history source question that needed unpacking slowly.
Liparent of a 14-year-old · Hong Kong
The biggest change is independence. My child still has to do the thinking, but now they have a patient tutor beside them whenever they need a nudge.

Questions

The fine print, in plain English.

01What happens after I subscribe?
Within 24 hours your named Coach emails to book the 1:1 onboarding call — a real person, before any tutoring starts.
  1. Day 0 — SubscribeWelcome email arrives; your Coach is assigned.
  2. Day 1 — Coach callYour named Coach books the 1:1 onboarding call and sets the term's goals with you.
  3. Week 1 — First sessionTutor connected inside Claude; your child meets their professor.
02What does PRO include?
PRO is £120 a month per subject, per child — or £360 a term, which is 25% less. It's personalised tutoring from that subject's professor, plus a named human Coach for the family, not a chatbot. It adds 1:1 onboarding for child and parents, a weekly energy check, a monthly open day and a termly parent evening. Add a second subject whenever you want one; Mentor is always included, free. Monthly cancels any month; termly cancels at term end.
03Monthly or termly — what's the difference?
Nothing in the tutoring: same professors, same named Coach, same onboarding. Monthly is £120 per subject (Max £320), billed each month, cancel any month. Termly is one payment for the 4-month term — £360 (Max £960) with the founding offer, 25% less — and you cancel at term end. Switch from monthly to termly whenever you like; before 30 September the switch locks in the founding rate.
04Does PRO cover 11+ and 13+ entrance exam preparation?
Yes — entrance-exam preparation is part of PRO, not a separate add-on. Set the target exam and its date on the dashboard, and every tutor, the weekly plan and the weekly report work towards it. A child can bring wrong answers from a past paper to a Socratic Paper Review, which works out why each one went wrong, and practise timed maths speed sets — every question rule-generated, so the answer key is computed, never a reproduced ISEB, GL or school paper. Reviewed papers and mistake patterns collect on your Exam Prep page. Two honest limits: we don't yet tutor Verbal or Non-Verbal Reasoning, and we never give a readiness number or predict a pass.
05What's the difference between PRO and Max?
Max is everything in PRO, delivered one-to-one weekly for just your child at £320 a month or £960 a term, per subject. It adds a custom competition-prep tutor, a conversational Learning Genius session, and a parents-only AI-fluency community. PRO's coaching is in a small group; Max's is solo.
06I have two children — do I pay twice?
PRO gives each child their own separate context on a single account, so siblings each pick up where they left off. Billing is per subject per child, but they share one account and one Coach relationship for the family.
07Is VAT included? Can I cancel anytime?
Yes to both. Prices are UK VAT-inclusive — the price you see is the price you pay. The Demo is free; monthly plans cancel any month and termly plans cancel at term end — both from your dashboard, no penalty.
08Why is there a founding price?
PRO and Max list at £120 and £320 a month — £480 and £1,280 over a 4-month term. Pay termly before 30 September 2026 and the founding offer takes 25% off: £360 and £960 a term, locked in for as long as you stay enrolled. After the deadline termly is £408 and £1,088 (15% off); monthly stays at list price.
09How do I try it before I pay?
Start with the free Demo. You add one connection to Claude and meet a live Socratic tutor with a pre-set student persona — no card, no sign-up. When you want personalised tutoring for your own child, move up to PRO.
10What is Heddy Merit Place?
It's a merit place. If your child has won an academic-excellence prize at school or an award from a recognised national competition (for example the UK Junior Mathematical Challenge), you can apply for a personalised AI tutor in that subject at £14/month per subject. It's application-gated with proof of award, has no human Coach, and places are limited.
11Do I need to pay to use the flashcards?
No. The whole Atlas is free — every KS3 deck, no account, no card, no daily limit. What a subscription adds is the part a deck of cards can’t do: a live conversation with the professor who teaches that subject, memory of your child across sessions, and progress reports for you. Cards without a subscription simply aren’t scheduled — they don’t come back on their own.
