Quickstart

Everything happens in a browser. No files to download, no terminal, no technical knowledge needed. Steps 1–4 happen on this site; steps 5–6 happen on claude.ai in the same browser window.

Before you begin

You need nothing but an email address to try the tutors. The Demo is free — no card, and you can even meet a live tutor before signing in. You only add payment details later, if and when you decide to book a Coach.

The six steps

1. Sign in

Go to aitutors.me/auth/login and enter your email address. We send you a sign-in link by email — click it and you are in. There is no password to create or remember.

Check your spam folder

The email comes from Mentor from AI Tutors <hello@mail.aitutors.me>. If it does not arrive within a minute, check your spam folder. The link is single-use and expires after a short time, so click it promptly once it arrives.

2. Try the free Demo first

Before you commit to anything, meet a live tutor. Go to aitutors.me/tutor/demo and start a real Socratic session with a professor straight away — no card, no signup. You get 10 professor turns to see how the tutoring feels for your child.

When you're ready to go further

The Demo is where every family starts. When you decide you want the full, personalised experience — a named human Coach, all seven professors, saved memory and a parent dashboard — you move up to PRO by booking a Coach at /book-coach. See Billing & Account for the full plan ladder and prices.

3. Choose your subjects

Once you're subscribed you land on a subject picker. Choose the subject professors for your child — Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, or Geography. Mentor is always included regardless of what you pick.

Not sure yet?

You can skip this for now and pick subjects later from your dashboard. You can change your selection any time.

4. Open your install page and copy your connector details

After choosing subjects you land on your personal install page. This page shows three values you will need in the next step:

• Name — aitutors.me tutors
• Server URL — the address Claude uses to reach the tutors:

https://aitutors.me/mcp

• Your ID — a personal code that starts with aitutors-…, unique to your account.

Keep this tab open. You will paste all three values into Claude in the next step.

Your ID is required

Claude's connector form calls the ID field "optional" — but for aitutors.me it is not. You must paste your aitutors-… ID or the connection will not work. Leave the Client Secret field blank.

5. Add the connector to Claude

Click "Open Claude →" on your install page. A new tab opens on claude.ai. Follow the steps on Connect on Claude.ai (web) to paste the three values and click Add.

Because you are already signed into this site in the same browser, the approval step that follows is near-instant — you will see a brief redirect and then return to Claude automatically.

It syncs to every device

You only do this once. The connector is tied to your Claude account and appears automatically in Claude Desktop and Claude mobile — no extra setup on those devices.

6. Complete the parent setup, then hand over to your child

Open a new chat in Claude and make sure the aitutors.me tutors connector is switched on.

The first time only, Mentor will speak to you — the parent. It will ask a few quick questions to set up your child's profile: their name, year group, and what they are into. This takes about two minutes. Once Mentor confirms the setup is done, hand the device to your child.

After the first-time setup

Every session after this goes straight to your child's check-in. You will not be asked the parent questions again. See Your child's first session for exactly what to expect.

Your personal connector details are always on your install page

If you ever need to re-add the connector or check your ID, go to /install. Your ID never changes.

Change your subjects any time

Go to your dashboard to add or swap subject professors. Changes take effect immediately — no reconnecting needed.
