Much Ado About Nothing: deception and overhearing

你需要知道的

• Much Ado About Nothing runs two love plots side by side: Claudio and Hero, and Beatrice and Benedick.
• Don John's tricks try to wreck Claudio's match, while Don Pedro's gulling scenes trick Beatrice and Benedick into love.
• The comedy darkens at the broken wedding, where Claudio shames Hero and the Friar plans to say she has died.
• Dogberry's Watch uncover Borachio's plot, Hero is revealed alive, and the play ends in a double marriage.
• The title puns on 'noting', so overhearing and gossip drive the whole plot.
