Drawing force diagrams

你需要知道的

• A free body diagram shows every force acting on one object as an arrow.
• The arrow's direction shows which way the force acts, and its length shows how big it is; label it in newtons.
• A plane in flight has thrust, drag, weight and lift acting on it.
• Work out the resultant force by subtracting opposite forces in each direction; if it is zero, the object is in equilibrium.
